Who are we?
History has played a crucial story in defining our character.

Our story begins in 2013, when Nikos [the father] envisioned a live music bar, where he could sing together with friends and visitors.

The business has changed dramatically the last ten years to what we see today. But what first made us unique still remains — a tradition of Greek culture through aesthetics, good music and delicious, cooked with love, food.

The timeline is written through the eyes of Fay

"We somehow learned how to function...
I started from the "water girl" and slowly got important role.My favorite one: the host! Greeting and sitting the guests.
Our seats were limited and the people... definitely unlimited! People were sitting Everywhere!
I remember nights when I would go and take the chairs from Mrs. Katerina's terrace from the balcony next door, and I would seat people in front of the orchestra. They would even sit on the stairs waiting until any table would become available..."
2020 - COVID
Hospitality, tourism, and mpogiata of course faced the restrictions from COVID19, alongside the rest of the world.
Even more for us, that music was the main core of mpogiata. After COVID, Greece forbit all music in hospitality venues, with massive fines being in place.

That was when we switched from a live music bar to a restaurant.
The music never escaped, and we had some core-memory moments for life

2013 Mpogiata as a Live Music Bar
"I remember the first day we opened.
I was fourteen, and neither I nor the rest of the family knew what was about to come.

When we opened we were equipped with limited knowledge and just a few glasses. Until the ultimate day, dad was building and painting. We were so not ready to open, but this never stopped us!

2014 - 2019
The years were flowing with music, cocktails and a core group of musicians and visitors, that all had their special spot in the bar.

Mpogiata band became an established group with their groupies following them all over the northern Greece.

Every summer we were becoming more and more popular, mainly among greeks, for the unique selection of songs we were playing.
2024 - today...
Fay speaking again: "And we slowly reach today... The years have passed, and just as I have changed, so has Mpogiata changed us... But just like on the first night, we are still running out of glasses, and there is still there our love, the willingness to step out of our comfort zones and evolve, to be open to everyone, everything..."

We are still here and we welcome you on board!

Food will be there any moment!
Καλή ÏŒρεξη!!!
